Thanthramukhi, the latest play from UAA- United Amateur Artistes is a hilarious comedy that offers a wholesome entertainment. It revolves around the travails of a young man, who tries to win the hand of his lady-love against all odds, with the help of a shrewd middle-aged bachelor. Unemployed and timid Hari falls in love with Meena, the daughter of a business magnate. He meets ' Solution' Sundaram and seeks his help in marrying his beloved. Enter an ' all – knowing' Sridhar, who throws a bombshell saying Hari cannot get married to anyone until he atones for the sin he had committed in the previous birth. How Sundaram maneuvers the situations to help Hari wriggle out of the crisis forms the crux of the story. The appearance of an elephant on the stage evokes memories of the spectacular tricks seen in the plays of veteran stage artiste, the late R.S Manohar, to whom UAA dedicates this play. Written by ‘Chithralaya’ Sriram, Thanthramukhi has been dramatized & directed by Y Gee Mahendra.

Crazy's Jurassic Baby

It is human to expect a human to grow one day old every day. But if a baby grows three years old every day after its birth and reaches almost 30 years by the time of discharge from the maternity hospital what will happen. The floodgates of humour would be heartily opened if Crazy Mohan writes the script.
Maadhu and Mythli are a happily married couple except for the fact that they are not bestowed with any children. A Maanthric from Allepey prescribes an herbal medicine for begetting children. As it turns out he has committed a gross blunder in its formulation which renders the new born with he strange phenomenon as narrated in the beginning.
Though the Scientists cum medicologists manage to arrest the super growth, yet, Maadhu and Mythli are left with a Jurassic Baby who is mentally ten days old but physically 35 years old. The strange experience of the parents to bring up such a baby cum man is told with rip roaring humour.
